I recently stayed at the Colfax Inn and had a very positive experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout my stay. One thing that really stood out was how responsive and hardworking the maintenance staff is. The maintenance technician in particular is a strong asset to the company—professional, quick to address concerns, and clearly dedicated to keeping the hotel in great shape. It’s refreshing to see someone take pride in their work and genuinely care about guest satisfaction. The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and relaxing, and the location is convenient for travelers. While the property is in the process of making some updates, it’s clear that improvements are ongoing and the employees are committed to creating a pleasant stay for all guests. I would absolutely stay at the Colfax Inn again and appreciate the service and effort put in by the team.

I had the best experience here!! The rooms were big and clean but you can get that anywhere. The Colfax Inn has the nicest and most accommodating staff! I had some issues with my booking, not because of them but Courtney at the front desk helped me for hours to get it all figured out. She didn’t have to help me but she did and I wouldn’t had a place to stay had she not helped me!! And all the other staff were super nice too!! Will be back for sure!!

I had a great stay at Colfax Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. the Wi-Fi worked well and the location was convenient. I really liked the boutique-style mint shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and shea butter soap. The staff was friendly and made the stay easy and pleasant.

I had just moved to Des Moines and was looking for an affordable and pleasant extended-stay hotel while I was getting settled into the area when I came across this hotel. It's located just outside of Des Moines in a secluded and serene area, which made it feel very much like home, yet not too far from shopping centers and the city of Des Moines. I stayed there for almost half a year before I moved out into my current apt. The rooms were spacious and all have Roku TVs. Waheed and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for short term entended stays to even long term extended stays! I would also definitely be returning to in the future if I'm ever looking for an extended stay near the Des Moines area!

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room's were really nice, clean and the furnishings and bed were extremely well kept looked brand new. That Combined with the remarkable price makes this a must stay!
